For #AntiBullyingWeek, we wanted to remind our pupils to be kind not only to others but also to themselves. Pupils were given festival bands and encouraged to write a kind word about themselves and then share a kind word with their friends. It's the small things. #BeKindAlways

Three years ago a colleague and I mixed up our usual motivational assembly approach to draft in some ‘specialists’. Just found these outtakes so thought I’d be an embarrassing dad and share them! 🤣 #pma#prepareperformprogress
Wow! Head of PSHE from our school just shared this with me. Very powerful. Too many of our female pupils have experienced this in their lives. As a teacher and a dad I have never felt more determined to change things.

It was fantastic to see so many of our boarders return over the weekend to @RAASBoarding! Phenomenal effort by the testing team to manage the process so safely and efficiently. The boarding staff did a smashing job to make the pupils feel at ease and at home! 1/3
2/3 great to have our whole boarding team back after another tough period of lockdown - we’ve missed you all! It’s been a sterling effort by the team that were able to stay in action to support the 60 boarders who have remained with us throughout...
If #schools#teachers are aware or suspect that pupils are buying drugs on the dark web that are illegal here, they must follow the same #safeguarding procedures they would if they suspected #SelfHarm and report to the designated safeguarding lead #edutwitter#lgbt#SLTchat
