@mrlee6 A culture of fear stems from discipline/correction w/o relationship. We preach this with T/S relationships (no one cares how much you know until they know how much you care). Visibility is key. Non-evaluative/informal feedback is key. Every classroom visit cannot be for FFT.
@ReaseDavid Interesting perspective! I think a difference is that principals and superintendents don't often exercise any de jure authority over their counterparts whereas teachers do. What phrasing would you use to describe a teacher that leads other teachers while still teaching?
