I truly sympathize with people experiencing frustration and confusion over this

But I seriously encourage anyone considering an abandonment of the Society to have some introspection: Why’d you support them in the first place?

Because it’s pretty? Well, you never actually supported them; you just thought you did.

Because of their views? Well if they’re right before God who is truth itself then what happened today? God approves of their positions but also condemns them because of an evil command for truth to be silenced?

I just think more people need to ask themselves, “What exactly is at stake here, if anything?”
