It’s officially 10 days till the St.Mungos Academy awards 🥳. To celebrate the final countdown we will be releasing one poster per day of our nominees films. First up is St. Mungos Film Ambassadors very own Cerys Farquhar’s ‘Go fish’ #stmoscars 🎬
I had no money growing up. My dad was a labourer and my mum did everything to make ends meet. Men worked hard. Women worked miracles. But education was free. As was the local library. I knew books were my passport to a better life. Happy #WorldBookDay
These pupils - both S6 and S1 - continue to amaze me with the commitment they have to @stmungo_mvp! They’ve come so far since training and started something very worthwhile! @MVPScot#mvp#stmungos
Our MVP ambassadors are doing a fantastic job on this journey providing support to our community to recognise and supporting us to work together to stand up for what is right. Empowering ourselves is also a great tool to support good mental health. Well done 👏
This Lent, @sciaf is supporting Zambia 🇿🇲. We are lucky to have Mr Ndhlovu who has kindly agreed to talk to us about the problems facing his country. This week, he discusses the issue of food security. Help end hunger in Zambia by putting money in a #WEEBOX this lent🧡
Higher pupils, remember, when answering the 5 mark RUAE question, identify the areas of agreement/disagreement first (in the green column) as you can achieve 3 marks for doing so. The other 2 marks come from the rest of the table. The picture gives you one way to structure it.💡
So many amazing interactions as the S6 mentors introduced S1 classes to @MVPScot that there needs to be more that one tweet! Can't wait for lesson two! @StMungosFalkirk
Our S6 mentors did themselves proud as they introduced the @MVPScot programme to our S1 classes today. Everyone did a wonderful job in leading their lessons and S1s took part in discussions in a wonderfully respectful way. Well done, @StMungosFalkirk!!
