@English_MrsC @Team_English1 For P2 Q5,I always get students to write from the POV of an expert in that field,and to create a profile of their writer. So,if the task was to write an article about animal cruelty, they might ‘become’ a retired safari guide. It really helps them generate ideas and have persona!

@MrsVRE I once did a student-voice survey and a large majority of our students said they only want to do well to please their parents. Really sad that there’s little self-gratification. If some parents aren’t checking G4S, where’s their motivation?

@MrsVRE You have given an instant reward: the achievement point. For most students, knowing they have an achievement point is worthwhile. For others, they prefer something different. I often take photos of students’ work and email parents during lesson time and this often works wonders.
