@adamboxer1 The greatest do now ever, as mentioned last night, has got my classes doing homework! Now to try dttbd to get the last stragglers as we’re not allowed to give a detention for not completing homework
Well today I felt like a proper grown up:

One more week, enjoy half term when it comes everyone
If anyone on here is interested in running the Manchester marathon next year (sold out), please consider running for the pagers association - a great charity my dad works with.

@adamboxer1 A bit late to the party but our kids first day back was today. I tried this out and I couldn’t have asked for a better first lesson with a class, it went so smoothly. No death by PowerPoint expectations this year! Still things to refine, but it felt good, thank you for sharing

Hi edutwitter, one more day to go for me! I was wondering if anyone has any experience in teaching ocr entry level history? I’ve just got my timetable and found out I’m teaching it next year in our inclusion centre, very excepted but also don’t know where to begin!
@Counsell_C @Strickomaster This is what my SCITT was like last year, training days more focused on teaching with some afternoons on history. I do feel that this is where there may be a difference in approach in SCITT compared to a university based PGCE from conversations with peers. Signed up the webinar
I have two copies of The Visualiser Handbook to give away.
This is for busy teachers who need concise clarity to make live modelling an effect part of their practice ASAP.
To enter, follow, like and retweet this post and I will draw winners at random on the 18th July.
@MrRobHistory@hb_history This is my diy set up. Better than nothing and I still have the main desk. Moved to the middle as well as I have a better view and have seen a massive improvement in behaviour
Hi everyone. I’ve been asked to help with the delivery of some CPD in school about using visualisers and was wondering if anyone had anything that would be good to look at or tips to share? Looking at how they can be used to aid teaching and any specific strategies. Thank you
