Have you ever been praying or worshiping and suddenly a dark, disturbing thought crashed into your mind? You wondered, “What is wrong with me? Is this even who I really am?” Intrusive thoughts are not your identity. They are an attack, not a verdict. In this devotional, I share a personal story, walk through what intrusive thoughts are (and are not), and point you to Jesus—the One who teaches us to take every thought captive. “...we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” 2 Corinthians 10:5 If you battle intrusive, blasphemous, or anxious thoughts and feel ashamed to talk about it, this is for you. You are not alone, and in Christ you are not condemned. Save this for the next time your mind feels like a war zone, and share it with a friend who quietly fights the same battle. #intrusivethoughts #christian #jesus #christiandevotional #biblestudy #faithoverfea #livingwordloft

Jesus didn’t promise an easy road. He was upfront about it, follow Him and it will cost you something. Let go of selfish desires, embrace the struggle, and walk the path He walked. Most people choose the easy route, the wide, comfortable road that requires nothing from you. No sacrifice, no accountability, no change. But that road, according to Jesus, leads to destruction. The narrow path is harder. Fewer people take it. But it’s the only one that leads to something real, true salvation and eternal life. The choice is yours. But understand that both paths lead somewhere. The question is where you want to end up. #Repent #AcceptJesusNow

1️⃣ "Allah is One — no partners, no son."
We agree God is One. But the Trinity is not "three Gods" — it is one God eternally existing in three persons. Jesus Himself said: "I and the Father are one" (John 10:30). The Quran itself calls Jesus the Word of God (Kalimatullah) AND a Spirit from Him (Quran 4:171) — titles given to absolutely no other prophet. If Jesus is merely a messenger, why does he uniquely share in God's own Word and Spirit? These are not titles of a postman.
2️⃣ "We're born pure — no original sin."
Romans 3:23 — "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." The reality of human brokenness doesn't require a doctrine to be true — it's observable. Every person, every culture, every civilization has wrestled with moral failure. The question isn't whether sin exists — it's whether it has consequence. Islam agrees sin exists and requires forgiveness. The question is: how?
3️⃣ "Allah forgives directly through sincere repentance — no sacrifice needed."
This is the heart of the debate. If God can simply forgive without addressing the moral weight of sin, then justice means nothing. Imagine a judge who lets every criminal go simply because they said sorry — we wouldn't call that mercy, we'd call it corruption. True justice requires that wrongs be paid for. The cross is not God being weak — it is God being BOTH perfectly just AND perfectly merciful at the same time. He paid the debt Himself (Romans 3:25-26). That's not weakness. That's the most extraordinary act of love in history
4️⃣ "Jesus was not crucified — Allah raised him."
The crucifixion of Jesus is one of the most historically verified facts of the ancient world — confirmed not just by the Bible, but by Roman historian Tacitus, Jewish historian Josephus, and multiple non-Christian sources. Quran 4:157 says it "appeared so" to them — but virtually every historian, Christian, secular, and Jewish, agrees the crucifixion happened. The real question is what it MEANT — and the resurrection answers that. Jesus didn't stay dead. He rose (1 Corinthians 15:3-6) — witnessed by over 500 people
5️⃣ "Calling Jesus God is like calling the postman the author of the letter."
This would be a fair analogy — IF Jesus only claimed to deliver a message. But He didn't. Jesus said:
• "Before Abraham was, I AM" (John 8:58) directly claiming God's name from Exodus 3:14
• "I am the way, the truth, and the life" (John 14:6)
• "He who has seen Me has seen the Father" (John 14:9)
• He accepted worship (Matthew 28:17) something NO true prophet ever did
• He forgave sins directly — which the Pharisees correctly noted only God can do (Mark 2:7)
No postman says these things. No mere prophet claims this. Jesus either was who He said He was or He was a liar or a madman. C.S. Lewis called this the "Trilemma" Lord, Liar, or Lunatic. The Quran itself says Jesus was sinless and truthful. So He cannot be a liar. That leaves one option.
6️⃣ "God died for your sins → that's bad fanfiction."
The eternal God did not cease to exist the human nature of Christ died, and three days later was resurrected. This is not illogical this is the Incarnation. God, in His infinite power, CHOSE to enter His own creation to rescue it. Isaiah 53 written 700 years before Jesus describes this in striking detail: a suffering servant, pierced for our transgressions, by whose wounds we are healed. That's not fanfiction. That's prophecy fulfilled.
Both Islam and Christianity agree:
✅ God is holy
✅ Humans sin
✅ Sin requires forgiveness
The difference: Islam says God simply declares forgiveness. Christianity says God's justice required a payment and in His love, He made that payment Himself through Jesus. Which reveals a greater God one who waves sin away, or one who personally bore the cost of our redemption? Jesus said: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16) I share this with genuine respect and love.
Peace to you, brother. You've raised several points — let me address each one honestly and respectfully.

Our faith doesn’t require us to strap bombs to our chests or die for a god who never died for us. Christianity is different. Every single one of us is born imperfect. Not one person on this earth is without flaws or mistakes and because of that, we all fall under the judgment of a holy and righteous God. That’s just the truth. But here’s what sets Jesus apart, He loved us so much that He took that judgment himself. He stepped in so we wouldn’t have to face the consequences of our own sin. That’s not religion, that’s rescue. It’s only through accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior that we are made right before God. No other god did that. No other god could do that. I say this with love, I’ll be praying for you. That the Holy Spirit stirs something in you and makes you realize that the god you currently serve never died for you, never took your place, and yet your sins still stand. Jesus already paid your debt. The question is whether you’ll accept it.
All I know is that the Bible was written almost 2000 years ago by 40 different authors and in 3 different languages (Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek) The authors were in different continents and years apart from each other when the scrolls were written. Yet they all wrote about the same belief and truth. That a Messiah was going to be born, was going to die for the SINs of this wicked world and Resurrect on the 3rd day.! You can’t give a room of people a topic to speak about and yet come up in alignment with each other. That’s freaking impossible but by the Power of the Holy Spirit it was made possible that til today does same biblical truths stand. I am not here to debate but to speak truth (Allah didn’t die for no one or yet resurrected from the grave) JESUS CHRIST Tomb is empty but yet Allah’s bones still remain.!

Until we meet Again | The empty chair. The unanswered texts. The ache that steals your breath. Death feels final—but Jesus says: "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die" (John 11:25). This isn't "they're in a better place" platitudes. This is HEAVENLY REALITY: Your loved one lives. You'll embrace again. The separation is temporary; the reunion is eternal. Grief weeps today, but eternity dances tomorrow. Hold this hope fiercely.
