Last week students read “Turtle, Turtle, Watch Out!” in ELA. This week in Makerspace students created a model device to help protect eggs in their nest to help increase sea turtle survivability! #Makerspace #STEM #STEAM #AmericanEducationWeek

2nd Grade Makerspace students learned about Labor Day and 9/11 this week and took part in making a flag. The white stripes are made up of jobs that students think are important and each student got a star!

Today we celebrated #WorldKindnessDay at Pine Grove! We wore cardigans in honor of one of the kindest people to ever live, Mister Rogers, and had students reflect on kindness and ways they can show it.

Teachers were not only greeted with a cup of coffee in the morning, they were also greeted with a cup of joy juice! @MrsClaggettPGE had her students write positive notes on coffee sleeves for teachers to enjoy at the staff breakfast today hosted by third grade. Awesome idea!
