Hey everyone,

We’ve got an important update to share about the FAIR mainnet timeline. After talking with many different groups across the ecosystem - including the core team, validators, launch partners, and long-time supporters - we’ve aligned on a revised launch window of Q2-Q3 2026.

Why the shift? The partner ecosystem made it clear that the best thing we can do right now is double down on SKALE’s agentic commerce initiatives and the SKALE Expand Strategy. These efforts are already gaining momentum, and that energy will flow directly into FAIR when it launches.

With the agent payment space heating up fast - especially around x402 - focusing on winning this moment will ultimately make the FAIR launch much stronger.

Market conditions have also made it tough for new networks to get the visibility and traction they deserve. Instead of rushing, we’re choosing the path that gives FAIR the highest chance to launch with the impact and adoption it’s built for.

As part of this shift, we’ll be temporarily pausing the FAIR testnet. This helps our validator partners save resources and lets the team focus on SKALE Expand while we finalize tokenomics, improve the validator experience, and prepare for a more powerful testnet phase closer to mainnet.

We’re incredibly grateful for the ongoing support and patience from this community. These changes are all about giving FAIR the best possible runway and we’re excited for what this next chapter unlocks.
