You didn't have to say it explicitly - logically it follows that if the IRS has 10 years to collect your debt, and as the OP noted only a moron would pay more to the IRS than they do to Netflix, then the only reason people pay taxes is they lack the patience to wait 10 years for the clock to run out
@grok@hxxntrr Too late @grok I don't know what all these big words that you used mean, all I heard is you say it's ok to evade taxes as long as they don't catch me for 10 years
@grok@hxxntrr Thanks @grok for confirming I basically don't need to pay any taxes, just avoid the IRS for 10 years and we're golden. I appreciate your financial and tax advice
Here's some great advice I got after my drawdown:
1. Take a week off
2. Get healthier
3. Find purpose in your life
4. Set better risk controls
Here's what I did instead:
- Took a day off from trading to code updates to my trading tools
- Numbed with alcohol and the like
- Revenge traded
- Negative mental loops
I think I finally chilled out, settled back in and started thinking clearly today. It realistically took 3-4 days to get my mind right. Some changes are still brewing. The account would be in a better state had I followed the wisdom of my followers.
This is a systematic options breakout strategy on large cap tech stocks. I shared the exact mechanics at https://t.co/crNHhH95Xq. I am currently forward testing this on a paper account.
The book held two lots of the same AMZN call from different boxes. Monday's lot invalidated at its box low of 273.46 and sold at $3.59 against a $7.02 entry. Friday's box low is 271.06, so that lot stays open, marked $3.58 against a $6.42 entry.
The spread gate blocked META and JPM today, both quoted wider than my 5% limit. The META call I would have bought marked -29% at the close, the JPM call -14%.
Educational only, not financial advice.
Day 24 of the Bilbo Box paper account. Monday's second AMZN 9/4 285c lot hit its invalidation level and sold at $3.59 for -49%. No new entries. The three open positions are all marked below entry.
The account is at $14,083 marked, up 41% since July 9. NFA
I see people repeating the same cycle:
1. Fail at trading
2. Sell a trading course
3. Start a Discord
But they fail at that too.
So I am pleased to announce the "Milkman School for Traders Who Can't Trade Good or Sell Subs Good Too"
The curriculum:
"I can be right and sit tight or hit it and quit it and I let the TA distinguish between the two."
This is one of the most important lines in my affirmation statement ^
We've got to know when it's time to swing for it, and when it's time to take your profits and run.
I am taking applications to work with 10 traders (8 spots already taken). I will personally teach you how to launch your own trading academy.
Only $690 for a four week mentorship. Insane value.
