Great work yesterday from 8AML during their weekly PHSCE session. Students explored the factors that influence someone’s career choice. They even paid a visit to the job centre along the way! #Careers

Year 8 have been researching the pros and cons of #AI in the workplace, presenting their findings in groups this week. Topics included efficiency, job displacement, security risks and cost savings. Great to see such thoughtful and balanced discussion on a rapidly evolving topic.

Great start to a new term and topic 'Artefact Architects' from 9X3. Students are redesigning a poorly created Gym App and improving its robustness using while loops. Along the way we are reading 'Robust Python' by Patrick Viafore. Happy coding!

Awesome work from Year 10 computer scientists this morning who have been exploring types of testing and test data. Students participated in whole class reading by exploring “How Google Tests Software” which generated a discussion on job opportunities and life after King’s. ⭐️

Today is #WorldPasswordDay and Year 9 have created some fantastic posters for it! 🔐 Their original, eye-catching posters don't just look great, they deliver powerful messages about staying safe online and protecting personal information. Mr Millar is proud! 👏 #CyberSafety

Year 9 took on the “Skittle Lesson” today 🍬💻 using sweets to model audio sampling! They quickly saw how low sample rates mean missing data, sparking great discussion on digital audio. A perfect mix of theory, reading & hands-on learning... with a few sweet treats along the way!
