Small patch note preview for tomorrow, Re: Pantheon
Fixed an issue where players could use Divinity to deal damage to Insurrection Prime outside of the standard damage phase.
- As a result of this fix, Divinity and any damage applied to its cage will not deal damage to Insurrection Prime at any point in the encounter.
- - In other words, do not use Divinity.
- - Insurrection Prime's Fallen Tech has been updated to circumvent this exotic weapon.
- Our condolences to every player that now needs to learn the encounter mechanics.
I’ll use a spare rations I get messaged “it’s year 13 still sweating with a handcannon?” but then I’ll use a jade rabbit and get messaged “hey man how is it like going door to door telling your neighbors about what you did” so I’ll keep using that spare rations
I'm so very tired of Marathon being a scapegoat over and over again.
Bungie made a game they're proud of (and so they should be!)
I agree that moving a % of the Destiny team to work on Marathon could have been a detriment to D2 short term but the reality is Destiny 2 was in a state of up and down throughout it's entire cycle since launch.
I also reckon with proper leadership and direction we could've been in a world where Marathon existed meanwhile Destiny had it's next IP greenlit and was coming down the pipeline whilst continuing to recieve proper updates.
I also see the player counts for Marathon and know it likely isn't sustainable long term as of yet however comparing them to Destiny is apples to oranges. (I also reckon a huge % of D2 players hadn;t played for months before the big update because they were fed up!)
If you've played and don't like the game, nor even like the genre I think that's fine. But constantly blaming it for where Destiny ended up is the wrong finger to point.
