Brendan Haywood says LeBron erased David Blatt’s play that ended up becoming the infamous game-winner he hit against the Bulls.
“It was the way he ran practice. He was kind of scared to coach LeBron. Remember the shot that LeBron hit in Chicago? David Blatt drew the play up for JR Smith. He had the upmost confidence in JR, but we all thought the play was going to LeBron. He was like ‘okay, yeah, JR’ and Bron grabbed the clipboard and said ‘absolutely not’ and erased the coach’s play and called his own play… and that’s the iconic shot he hit over Jimmy Butler. You’re not supposed to draw up a play for anybody except LeBron James in that situation.”

Doc Rivers with probably the realist words ever said about LeBron -
“With MJ we allowed him to grow into greatness. With LeBron we didn’t & he STILL over achieved. He’s had some of the biggest clutch games in NBA history yet no one knows it.” 💯👑
LeBron James holds the record for most playoff wins without an All-NBA teammate in league history with 116.
He won 87 of those in Cleveland alone, matching Tim Duncan’s entire career total and topping everyone else.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
We made our mark King, your career is above and beyond every expectation they set on you since you were a teen. And I’m so glad I was able to witness it all 🌟
Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith reunite on First Take:
“You've already elevated LeBron James all the way up to No. 2 on your NBA all-time list? I have him at 9!”
*THIS IS BRUTAL TO WATCH * Luke Kennard here is penalized for catching an elbow jab strike to the chest and for not simply moving out of SGA’s way.
But the best part is watching the ref not even raise his hand for the call until he realizes that SGA’s shot rolls off the rim.
BLATANT & INEXPLICABLE!
