@jighjigh_jnr Hip hop OGs down play Missy and big up Miss Hill but Missy did more for the genre and music in general than Miss Hill so for me Missy Elliott has a far greater legacy than Lauryn Hill

@Bobbysleem In their come up Takeoff carried them, their first biggest song Fight Night was all Take's work but the change in hip hop sound in 2016 led to Quavo's style to carry the group forward to their ultimate PEAK
@TeeDaHotboi@jighjigh_jnr I hear u but a big vocabulary don't mean u gon be good at battling sometimes it's more about intelligence in constructing words than words themselves so this battle might be closer then we realize coz both act have something the other lacks
@DeanGermsrz@RayRapOpinions I'm a fan of Kendricks work and TPAB is not as great as his other album i even put Section 80 above it, i personally think he made the album to appease to 90s rap fans since they say that's tge "REAL" rap but it just don't hit as well as GKMC thats a masterpiece
@DeanGermsrz@RayRapOpinions And Take Care is just more musically balanced than GKMC and has more replay value, what I'd say is GKMC is greater than Take Care if we talk purely rapping but Take Care is just superior if we look at the overall body of work
@LadePlatinum Mike in the 90s tried to change with the times instead of becoming the times like he did in the 80s and i believe that worked for him but i also think personal issues distracted his creativity
@Tha_realangelo I think it was for marketing purposes coz a label would release a single and if successful then they would market the album around that single for easier awareness so I'd attribute this to the labels back in the old days
