Thank you Emmy for showering me with 20,000 Diamonds and getting me to shamelessly tweet this out. If you're a Solana OG head to https://t.co/HiB5G2JrNx to claim the Diamonds you've earned
Incredibly grateful to be able to give a present to lots of people, and grateful to be such a supportive, constructive and degen culture.
We have an insane number of things to work on from here on, and I cannot think of a better community to do it together with.
Essay tomorrow. For now, sleep.
I just preordered #Chapter2 from @solanamobile! If you missed out on Solana Saga, don't miss out on what's next, and the chance to refer others and climb the leaderboard. https://t.co/iux6NgIKwx https://t.co/iux6NgIKwx

Team legit did right by hyping up what they delivered. It was dope.
If you sold your gods out of fear you just simply were shook for the wrong reasons.
Hey @frankdegods & @kevindegods,
I've been in Web3 marketing for 6 years – helped take Enjin Coin from 2c to $4.
It's weird because no one markets as charismatically as you. But also, the only thing that went wrong with this launch was the marketing.
Luckily, it's easy to fix.
As you know, everyone wants announcements and big rollouts to be euphoric moments. The last 6 years have taught me a lot about this.
1. Hit Hard (in one big moment)
2. Over Communicate
3. Attract
That's it.
But what does that mean?
1. HIT HARD
Drawing the announcement out over a whole day left people weary, this eroded the emotional impact of the announcement.
The fact that some people couldn't stay awake till the final Points Parlor announcement was a big disappointment for them and it left low engagement on what should have been the biggest announcement of the three.
1a. Set a time, SEND IT
Roll out all the information at a pre-set time. Make sure all of the necessary information is packaged up in 1 easily consumable video & blog, so no one misses any important details.
It seems like you guys don't agree that blogs are the most effective tool to reach your desired audience, so I'll cover that in the other points.
1b. PR
There is absolutely no doubt that journalists would have been VERY interested in covering this launch.
Firstly because of how innovative the new products are, secondly because of the hype, and thirdly because of your reach. For these reasons, they would have gained a lot of click-throughs from being early to cover the news. Journalists won't get nearly many eyeballs posting information after the news is already out there.
Having journalists weigh in on the announcement gives the community lots of information to delve into at their peak moment of interest – instead of waiting all day, they could have been researching and speculating all day, we love this.
PR also serves as a great amplification tool for the message – allowing you to reach deep-diving enthusiasts, industry professionals, and institutional investors.
Journalists are also great at packaging complex information into easily digestible posts. People also respect and listen to good journalistic takes more than anything else – because of the credibility their publications maintain.
Sending journalists your press release a week before the launch is paramount. They need their content written and edited before the announcement goes live. You can trust all reputable journalists with this early information because it's literally their job to maintain strict codes of conduct when it comes to confidentiality and ethics.

1c. Press Conference
Schedule a press conference for the day after the announcement, Zoom will do. Invite every creator you know, give them all the relevant information, give them a screenshare-tour of the products, and answer any questions you can.
Broadcast the live press conference privately on the @delabsxyz Discord (LFG), record it and post it on your site for the rest of the world to see (ATTRACT).
2. OVER COMMUNICATE
I have a feeling you predicted all of the objections you’re now seeing. But, with strong long-form content, you can overcome them at the time of launch.
The majority of us want information spoon-fed to us, we want to know all the information, we want to be told explicitly what it means for our community and ecosystem, we want to be given compelling arguments to use on Social Media. Arm your troops.
It's important to fill in the gaps, instead of letting people make assumptions. Most people spend most of their days thinking negative thoughts. If you leave information gaps, they will fill them with negative assumptions. For this reason, I’d recommend that a complex roll out like this be done in the form of a blog post, video, news articles, and press conference.
I'll touch on the specific points that are being misunderstood (mainly for the community).
2a. y00ts to Ethereum
People don't understand how much of a difference Ethereum trading volume could make – There are many data points and precedents that can be shared to communicate how big an impact this move will have.
Some people think Blur rewards incentivize downtrends, yes, but they incentivize uptrends even more. It's up to the project to define the momentum, Blur just multiplies it.
No one knows how you're able to refund the $3m – Both companies are profitable, you can keep building forever, and (I assume) the $3m was just sitting there the whole time. That’s insanely bullish.
There are ridiculous rumors that there's beef between [De] and Polygon. y00ts helped bring adoption to the Polygon NFT ecosystem and Polygon's support lent [De] a lot of credibility and respect. All-in-all the relationship was an obvious W for both parties and my experience with both parties leads me to believe it’s all love.
2b. The Art
People have no idea how easy it will be to change between their PFPs. A video of the functioning platform or at least the Figma prototype would have shown people how cool this experience will be.
Right now, people need to imagine what it feels like to consume this experience – video is far more compelling than imagination and most people have toxic imaginations.
Being able to choose the PFP that reps you the best is an insane innovation.
The fact that we can regularly update art with the season (like luxury brands do) makes us think of NFTs in a completely different way.
The paradigm has changed.
People also don’t understand the significance of having a luxury option for their PFPs, this creates more demand from affluent holders and institutional investors who would be able to add insane value to the community.
2c. Points Parlor
A video of the functioning platform is an absolute must here.
We need to be able to see how it works, why it’s important, and how it changes the game.
Add a voice over and use your charisma and storytelling ability to fully explain the impact that you think this will have on the [De] community and the wider NFT ecosystem.
Can’t wait to see all of the prizes that will be available in the points parlour.
Owning an NFT and, therefore, receiving a free Tesla, free groceries, the free rent is insane, a video about this could have gone viral.
Wen Lambo? Nah, Wen Tesla.

3. ATTRACT
You guys have insane top-level engagement, never seen anything like it. But I think there’s a gap in the middle of your funnel.
For this reason, having a blog is important because it brings people to your site and from there, they should always be one click away from an inescapable buy button.
It’s also needed for SEO.
If you don’t want to use YouTube for discoverability, then you can use videos in the middle of your funnel instead. Upload private long-form videos to Vimeo, embed them at the top of the blog post, so people must come to the website to view the full video.
In my opinion, this is the best way to attract people to your buy button.
🚀
I hope I don’t come off as arrogant.
I think you’ve built something incredibly special and I’m just really glad you’re here.
Just wanted to provide some actionable suggestions that will ensure that you stick the landing for y00ts II.
