@ex_static7 you need to hold the block/dodge button for the majority of the OT until it ends, then as it's ending spam dodge in any direction and while holding block still do a gleam heavy coming out of the dodge animation, I actually found this out when getting clips for my explanation xd
@ex_static7@Jehuttyy But ye it's strange how it ends in a new move you can't access otherwise when the entire concept of chain link is to continue a combo
@ex_static7@Jehuttyy I wasn't very clear on the steps lol, the 1st clip I did heavy attack with dragon sword (could be any weapon), dodge and hold block the entire time, and during the dodge start holding gleam and press Y again, that's it, same concept for doing it out of counters or OTs basicly
@ex_static7@Jehuttyy Duno if ng4 players gatekeeping (xd) but it's basically just chain link with Y attack.
You can do it after a normal Y, Riposte Y/Gleam as shown in 1st clip.
2nd clip is doing it after an OT (can chain them)
3rd is showing how you can do air moves after doing it with Yakumo.
@UltraNoticer @PenumbraDweller@NikTek I don't have to I remember it well, the moments with water are brief but look great, I don't think there is anything visually that Black Flag does better than God of War 3 if you want to focus on that game, but comparing a Sony exclusive to an Ubisoft open world game is unfair.
@UltraNoticer @PenumbraDweller@NikTek Well, there's really no point in discussing it when your perspective is this skewed now is there?
Consider revisiting some of those games if you think that little of their visuals, Black Flag is really nothing special for it's time.
@UltraNoticer @PenumbraDweller@NikTek Crysis 1-2-3, Uncharted 2-3, God of war 3, bioshock 1-2, Killzone 3.
Most of these actually react to the player and the world too besides spawning a water splash sprite, unlike Black Flag.
@Jehuttyy The way you do gleam cancel dodge offsets in the air to perform reverve moves is crazy inspirational, reminds me of DMC4 guard flying, best clip yet tbh making me want to boot up the game rn
