Highly recommend the website Spiral.ac for your next class discussion, video clip, or group activity. It can use Google Classroom classes and gets S's using technology (phones/laptops) for participation. Using it tomorrow to teach about modern relevancy of redlining! #ssvpln

A6: I hope that me and my PLC can mold our future units around PL. It goes very well with the new Iowa social studies/NCSS standards, and is rooted in inquiry. It gives my students control over their learning and can allow for multiple means of expression. #ssvpln #pblchat

A4: Its been mentioned by a few people, but so far this semester my S's have appreciated rubrics that align with state standards to inform their projects. School libraries and historical societies have also been very helpful for my U.S. history classrooms. #ssvlpn #pblchat

Instruction evolves as the students do throughout the year. After giving interest surveys and scaffolding some PL, instructors can begin to let students form their own questions and perform inquiry about personalized areas. #pblchat #ssvpln
