UK BORDER MATTERS. A lady is being held at Heathrow, London as I write. She is here to join her husband who has been in tears all day in what is a genuine relationship. They are holding her because they saw a text between her and her husband preparing her for the journey to the UK as she has never traveled before. The UK Border Force says it is not a genuine relationship because of the conversation but it is genuine. Your text messages and WhatsApp messages on your phone may be accessed at the point of entry. They can use what is there against you even in this case in what is a genuine relationship. They are still holding her. The implications of this is that if she is removed from the UK based on the fact that her relationship is not a genuine one, she will never be back in the UK. The husband just told me that if that happens, he also will have to return to Nigeria as he has no business being here without his wife. Another sad case. What is in your phone?
