Hon'ble @PMOIndia in his speech today informed that we have made the process of promotions very smooth.

However, @cbic_india is making this complicated by not following the statutory provisions of RRs.

One Time Relaxation was granted by @DoPTGoI to fill up approx 2000 vacancies but sadly this will fill up only 100-150 vacancies all over the country, as some provisions mentioned in RRs are not being followed by @cbic_india

Step 1. Started the Proposal of One Time Relaxation in July 2021
Step 2. Got the approval of Revenue Secretary on 16.11.2021
Step 3. Got the approval of DoPT in 6months (on 09.05.2022)

आज से 1 साल पहले अर्थात 16.11.2021 को राजस्व सचिव @FinMinIndia ने @cbic_india के कर सहायकों की पदोन्नति हेतु One Time Relaxation की मंजूरी दी थी, लेकिन लालफीताशाही के चलते आज तक यह implement नहीं हो पाया, इससे 3000 रिक्तियां भरी जानी है।

Can we ask them why they themselves not followed the guidelines of @DoPTGoI in which protection clause & asking stakeholders comments is mentioned.

We just want that norms shd be followed by everyone i.e. employees & department

@DoPTGoI Please show some sympathy towards the poor condition of Tax Assistant in CBIC. Thousand of TAs are in despair due to not getting long awaited promotion. Kindly grant OTR. Their counterparts in CBDT have become Inspector bt TAs in CBIC are still TA for last 6yrs.
