π Pinned Welcome Post β Mr. Pips Strategy
Welcome. Iβm Mr. Pips.
Iβve been trading the financial markets for 6+ years and hold a Masterβs degree in Finance.
I trade a rule-based Forex breakout framework built around one simple idea:
Price moves from consolidation β expansion.
I donβt predict direction.
I react to structure.
The framework (simplified):
β’ 1H chart to identify clean consolidation zones
β’ Breakout with a candle close outside the range
β’ Switch to the 15m chart
β’ Wait for a retest of the broken level
β’ Enter only after a confirmation candle
No breakout β no trade
No retest β no trade
No confirmation β no trade
Risk & execution rules:
β’ Fixed 30 pip stop loss
β’ Maximum 3% risk per trade
β’ Partial profits at TP1
β’ Runners allowed for TP2
β’ Risk is controlled through position sizing, not emotion
Losses are part of the system.
Consistency is the edge.
How I share my setups:
I share zones and market structure, not exact buy or sell commands.
This allows you to trade my setups 24/7, across all time zones, not only when Iβm online or available.
Markets move continuously.
A framework scales. Real-time signals do not.
You execute trades independently using clear rules, instead of waiting for instructions that may come too late.
I will occasionally comment on active setups, for example:
β’ when I invalidate a setup
β’ when I adjust trade management or move TP2
But the goal is never dependency.
The goal is competence and consistency.

Quick update.
Iβve been offline the past days.
Markets havenβt changed. Rules still apply.
CAD/JPY
TP1 reached.
Position currently ~+75 pips in profit.
Stop loss locked in below the new structure at ~45β50 pips.
EUR/JPY
Valid entry after full confirmation.
TP1 reached.
Position currently ~+45 pips, stop loss still at break-even.
EUR/AUD
Rules applied. Entry executed.
Price moved +18 pips in favor before stopping out at break-even.
Risk managed.
Capital protected.
This is exactly how the framework is designed to perform.
Winners run.
Losses are controlled.
- Mr. Pips
Note on exposure.
3 setups include JPY, which means correlation risk.
I would not take all three trades simultaneously.
Only consider an additional JPY trade once risk on the first position is neutralized.
Risk management first.
Always.
