@MissMintyTTV Designing an entire subsection of the game around a timer creates extra pressure that lands squarely on the person who sets the pace and route. Huh, who knew?
Combine that with gamers already wanting to rush through everything and I don't blame people for not wanting to tank.
@BubblepunkAD Then yes, that should be illegal, at least under EU, Canadian, and Australian law. It creates a false sense of urgency to try to encourage sales. Assuming it never goes off sale, and the "sale" price is being used as the intended price, that is.
@KiranaYonome Could be any number of things. Mic too close to keyboard, an omnidirectional mic capturing sound from all around it, gain too high, etc, etc.
There are filters you can use to help, but it depends on the mic and your setup. If you would like assistance, send me a message.
@Khorgnir This is the part where I push my glasses up on my nose and say "Um, actually, I believe there is a 100 instance per hour limit." So technically there is some form of gating, but it's pretty extreme. Your statement is like 99.7% correct.
@Merrydawg Managers are scammers. 98% of creators don't need one, and those that do don't look on X. I asked a well-known one if they'd show clients, and all the white knights & "clients" came out; none with a significant following. They then banned me on Twitch. Truth hurts, I suppose.
@ice_breaker_tv Useful as a reward/incentive for larger communities. Alienating for smaller streamers who need exposure and new eyes more than anything else.
