هذا المشروع، يا سيدي، يرفضه الشعب المالديفي بأسره؛ وذلك لأسباب متعددة، من أبرزها أن العقد السري المبرم بينكم وبين الحكومة المالديفية لإدارة المشروع ليس إلا عقدًا باطلًا بطلانًا مطلقًا، لمخالفته الصريحة والواضحة لأحكام الدستور المالديفي. ومن ثم، فإن هذا العقد سيُلغى بإرادة الشعب المالديفي فور رحيل الحكومة الحالية، وما ذلك ببعيد، بحول الله تعالى.
