One day, I will be President of the Republic of Liberia, and under my leadership, I intend to help complete the transformation Liberia deserves.
Years from now, I hope I can look back at this exact moment and remember that the journey started here.
Today is Monday, September 28, 2026.
Right now, I am lying in my room in a modest 2LDK apartment that I share with my friend and brother, SMK. Nothing about this moment looks extraordinary.
But I know where I am going.
I'm just a struggling student. There's no fortune waiting for me in the bank, no wealth behind my name, and no guarantee that the road ahead will be easy. Just a young man trying to survive, learn, grow, and prepare himself for the future.
But I know where I'm going.
Dear @CyrilRamaphosa,
South Africa cannot succeed in isolation. True liberation means honoring Ubuntu and rejecting divisiveness. South Africa's destiny is inextricably linked to the rest of Africa.

The ongoing Xenophobic attacks in South Africa are a painful reminder of what happens when economic structures are left un-decolonized. Instead of dismantling systemic inequality, misdirected frustration is fueling a tragic betrayal of continental solidarity.

If heaven were based on the weight of our prayers alone, Liberia would be the holiest nation alive. But God listens, too, to the hungry child and the old woman in the waiting room with no doctor. Read the full piece here: https://t.co/CR9TVcQn88
In the stillness of the night, the truth speaks volumes with sound. Words may deceive and misguide, but silence can hold the answers found. ~ Tijan Sanutee Kabbah Jr.
In a world of diverse opinions, disagreement is inevitable, but it is in our willingness to open our hearts to each other and co-exist with those who hold different views that we find the true measure of our humanity. - Tijan Sanutee Kabbah Jr.
I think parents need to realize that comparison is not a motivation. It is ineffective and counterproductive.
Dear parents, refrain from comparing us with our age mates!
โNigeria is the only country where professors rig elections for politicians but expel students for examination malpractice.โ โ Prof. Wole Soyinka
Philosophically, this idea of โletting goโ can be understood as a form of self-transcendence, which is the process of transcending the limitations of our current self or identity in order to become something greater. https://t.co/zMXWwLP3Tt
Had a blast sharing a bit about my journey with the students at @ALAcademy as a guest speaker. Such excellent and vibrant young people who left me very optimistic about the Pan African future at large. Probably the best A level school in Africa.
Given the current state of Liberia, it is clear that effective leadership is needed to address the countryโs challenges. With this in mind, I ask, what type of leaders does Liberia need?

Have you ever known the weight of sorrow,
That drags the mind down to despair,
Like a ship in a storm, tossed and battered
by the waves of grief.

So what exactly is the deal with setting resolutions? Are they necessary, or are they just another societal expectation we feel compelled to fulfill?

In Liberia, the political class has always struck me as being something of a contradiction. On the surface, it seems that our politicians are constantly at odds with one another, locked in fierce battles for power and influence. https://t.co/42cWdFGEsj
