@ZachHeilprin I know NBC is the Notre Dame network, and I know the Badger uniforms are hard to read, but the broadcasters don’t seem to know anything about UW. They don’t even name the UW players who are making nice plays. Odd
@DanRShafer THESE are the events we need to tie to climate change. Rising global ave temps? People don’t feel it - frog in a pot. What we ARE feeling is the extremes are EXTREMER. Extreme heat?- record temps. Extreme cold snap- record lows. Big forest fires? Bigger. Rain + flooding? Records.
@AdamMcCalvy Is this one of those dumb baseball things where the rules say one thing but not everyone does it? Rule- mngr must raise hand to initiate, then 15 sec to decide. That’s what Murphy did (not sure how long tho). Then Boone never raises his hand, just does the wave for no challenge.
@ZachHeilprin@TheSwing_WI Interesting half time quote from HP player -they are more athletic than WI. Not wrong. Nolan/AB can’t jump, JB gets blocked at the rim a lot…Shows most on UW’s D end. Great season, fun to watch, but they HAVE to get better defensively. No prob with OFF today, ‘cept last 2 poss!
@mattschneidman Right guard for the Bears had his hand down, established himself, and then moved his left leg out of the way of the center. That’s a false start.
@jaypo1961 The only way to get a mostly unobscured shot down the goal line is with a cart cam… which are expensive and some stadiums don’t have room for them… and no one’s paying for one for this matchup.
@jaypo1961 Sorry. Forgot about that timing (retirement). Whatever it was, it sure didn’t make sense to the layman out here. He produced when he played but he didn’t seem to be rewarded. Glad he stayed here. Staying at UW shows he’s got character, at least.
@ZachHeilprin@TheSwing_WI Does this team even have a coach for bigs? I know Stiemsma is here, but in player development. Winter shows promise but Crowl is possibly worse, Ilver and Hodges are scholarship black holes. Needed portal help and coaching. Did they really think it would be ok this year down low?
@CBartWSJ Watch him reset his feet just before the throw. The most relaxed he’s looked all day. When he released it you knew it was going to be a good throw.
