Said Class absolutely loved presenting their homework this week! As part of their task, they interviewed members of their family to discover interesting facts and stories. They spoke confidently in front of the class, using clear presentation voices and showed great enthusiasm!
For their guided reading session, Said class discussed whether computer games were good or bad for us. They used their oracy skills to discuss, debate and challenge each other's opinions! @WygateA

In science, Said Class have been creating their own mould fossils! We have researched the fossilisation process and replicated it for ourselves! @WygateA
This week, in science, Said Class have been learning about the different layers of the Earth. We have used syrup, apple slices and biscuits to represent the magma, crust and bedrock! @WygateA
This afternoon, Said class have been re-enacting tectonic plate movements with chocolate bars!
We looked at transform, convergent and divergent movements! @WygateA
For their first oracy homework of the term, Said class performed their presentations all about their hobbies and interests. They utilised their presentation voices while sharing and asking questions about each other! @WygateA
For this term’s No Outsiders lesson, Said class focused on ‘The Hueys in the new jumper’ by Oliver Jeffers! We discussed that being different and unique is a positive and should be celebrated!
Another fantastic week of whole school attendance with almost every class above 96%, well done everyone 👏🏻
