At the Symposium (organised by the students for the students), under the banner of MRC-funded IMPACT and AIM DTP, we had a fabulous and productive day with fun throughout, especially at the end. I want to thank the team of people involved in the organisation @Impact_Aim_Mrc
I briefly chatted with Prof Alice Roberts @theAliceRoberts on Public Engagement in Science today - it was exciting and motivating. Also, it is good to know that the third programme of the new Digging for Britain series will be out in January.

The MRC AIM DTP 2022 cohort had great fun during the Dragonsโ Den challenge. The whole process was very engaging for both the participants and the judges. Medical-based business ideas put forth by all five teams were captivating. We had a full-on enjoyment @Impact_Aim_Mrc

On #WTDay22 a personal perspective. Broke my leg 6 months ago cycling following a collision with a car. 3 months later diagnosed with DVT. Thanks to anticoagulation and support I am now on the road to recovery. Please look out for the symptoms before itโs too late@thrombosisday
Passing on the vibes for World Thrombosis Day (13th October).
