@c0wabungadud3@rezireyz Sometimes I think about how Liu talks about his scars
FUCK INVINCIBLE UNIVERSE IS SO GOOD I'M SAD THIS STORY ESPECIALLY IS PROBABLY NEVER GETTING ANIMATED
Fire Emblem Engage manga Chapter 40 (final chapter) - Up on the usual site.
Thank you for reading. A huge thank you to @MrRagoon and Sundel for helping to proofread, as well as providing wording advice and reminding me of Fire Emblem lore that I forgot or didn't know.
@Vile_Pile@InazumaSensei@TOTK_Stannis@invincicat I would have to disagree a bit since I felt the comics did a better job of making it look like Nolan got comfortable on earth and settled as a human, the show portrays Nolan as just hostile and unpleasant a lot of his time on earth to where I have to question why he's missed
@meringuedolly@Honeikki Guarding the Globe is such a weird miniseries and Invincible Universe is just it but better in every possible way.
Like I had to process my head a bit when they explained what kind of "bomb" the Maulers were making in Guarding the Globe.
@tuwhacca_@kblmolti94@Lelouch92i Wait which one is the only good one for you, because I kinda agree the Monster Girl one looks off but...I don't really see an issue with the other 2 they look fine imo.
@invincicat There's something special about how the comic shows Mark interacting with the people he saves.
I like how despite him not being fond of Derek he's the only one who welcomes him back after he got kidnapped by Hiles.
@Barkeye52 @JackTDG2@XavierArtHD Idk that just feels weird to me I guess, like I feel from what I've seen anime/manga characters that have changes to their feats once adapted still end up getting that grouped together. Just feels fair to do that for Nolan too, but I can agree to disagree.
@Barkeye52 @JackTDG2@XavierArtHD I get what you mean in that in can lead to some inconsistencies but idk can't that also lead to the same problem of show/comic Nolan being considered stronger/faster than the other when they're suppose to be the same character?
@Barkeye52 @JackTDG2@XavierArtHD I feel like Red Rush isn't a knock towards Nolan though like the way I see it is...you have a guy who perceives simple interactions like they're hours and Nolan took less than 5 tries until he caught him. Even speedblitzing him in the comic if we want to combine them.
@ResurrexitAgain@Kama_Kamilia To each their own but I feel despite having some off expressions at times, Invincible in general is such a gorgeous comic imo. Plus if anything I love that it allows it's characters to be so expressive like the ones in your example, those just don't look bad to me.
@FlippedGears Sometimes I think about how Chrom from Awakening ACCIDENTALLY smashed a human sized hole in his castle wall while training
Like Fire Emblem humans are humans in names only these are FREAKS that shoot lightning at age 7 and throw trees at age 17
@ImJoe527@ghaaast Like it gets even crazier because after this he casually CRUSHES that pillar with his bare hands
AND HE'S CRESTLESS, FODLAN IS JUST FULL OF DEMONS LIKE THIS
@ImJoe527@ghaaast Guts in general is believed to be a lot stronger than he actually is because he's understandably beloved and is famous for pulling through impossible odds.
In reality, Raphael alone would be considered apostle level with the shit he pulls in some animations much less Dimitri.
