@georgeachillea @sleepyjoe179835 I don't want to sell Bergvall but many people find it very hard to differentiate between a good player and a good player for their age group. Bergvall is pretty good for a 19 year old but against all other PL midfielders he's poor.

Bottom line is though that they are crap. This football match should never have happened and it is killing the UEL and UECL.

@Millar_Colin What about something like the old Uefa Cup format for the Champions League, which had the first round before the group stage.

One or two knockout rounds to bring the number of teams down, which covers the Europa League level prize money. Win those for UCL league phase entry.

@DougieCritchley Surely it's time to consider abolishing the lower two "competitions". They are kangaroo facades of competitions, walkthroughs for English teams to hollow-ly break their trophy droughts as you say.

Surely one large expanded champions League and solidarity payments would be better

@Millar_Colin If the only reason to keep the UEL and UECL is to compensate smaller teams financially just increase the UCLA size and increase solidarity payments, these two tournaments are not "competitions" anymore they are Kangaroo facades.

@rajsinghchohan Surely time to seriously consider abolishing this competition. It would be much better to have one big Champions League than have these two Kangaroo facade English team walkthroughs.
