Here's the thing you need to understand: before we get any definitive confirmation of Tyler Robinson's political views, they don't matter. The fact is millions of Leftists all over the country celebrated Charlie Kirk's murder.

They wanted a guy who promoted freedom of speech and open debate dead because they didn't like what he had to say, and they showed the world who they are. They showed the world they want anyone who disagrees with them to die. They joined hands in celebration of political violence and showed the world their sadism and vitriol.

They saw a man die in front of his daughter, blood pouring from his neck, and immediately took to social media to laugh and gloat about it, to rub it in your face. They wanted credit for the murder, and forfeited their dubious claim to the moral high ground the instant they believed they had won some imaginary victory, until the cancel culture they love so much came for them.

So while the Leftists wipe the sweat from their foreheads upon seeing doubt of the assassin's political views and immediately resume their mockery, don't forget what they did. Don't forget what they showed you. Don't forget what they wanted you to see of them. They were proud of the evil they displayed until the fear of consequences kicked in.

This is textbook war propaganda dressed up in polished rhetoric. We've seen this playbook before: "They’re enriching uranium," "they violated non-proliferation obligations," "they rejected peaceful alternatives." It's all meant to desensitize the public into accepting the next foreign entanglement under the illusion of inevitability and necessity. It has "Iraq has WMDs" energy all over it. Let’s cut through the fog:

1. Civilian vs. military enrichment—this framing is misleading.
Yes, low-enriched uranium (LEU) is typically under 5% U-235 concentration, and weapons-grade is around 90%. But there’s a growing body of civilian nuclear tech that benefits from higher enrichment—known as HALEU (High-Assay Low-Enriched Uranium), usually defined as 5–20% U-235. Iran’s enrichment level has peaked around 60%, which is not weapons-grade and is not a smoking gun.

Why would a nation want uranium enriched above LEU levels? Because next-generation reactors—especially small modular reactors (SMRs), fast reactors, and molten salt reactors—require HALEU for higher burn-up, greater efficiency, and smaller waste profiles. These reactors offer energy independence and longer refueling intervals, which are especially attractive for developing countries under threat of sanctions or regime change.

2. Less enrichment ≠ more peace.
Insisting Iran accept a deal that allows them civilian nuclear power but prohibits enrichment is not diplomacy. It's coercion. No sovereign nation is going to trust the West after Libya gave up its program and got bombed, or after the U.S. pulled out of the JCPOA despite Iran’s verified compliance. The IAEA's own reports show Iran was abiding by the deal until the U.S. unilaterally broke it. Trust, once broken, is hard to earn back—especially when it involves national security.

3. Let’s talk non-proliferation.
Iran is a signatory to the NPT and has allowed unprecedented inspections. Israel, by contrast, has never signed the NPT, has undeclared nuclear weapons, and faces no consequences. So when JD Vance feigns outrage about violations of “non-proliferation obligations,” he’s not making a moral argument—he’s making a geopolitical one. It’s about control, not compliance.

It improves thermal efficiency and fuel utilization, especially in fast reactors.

It supports reactors that can burn existing nuclear waste (transuranics), further reducing long-term storage needs.

Countries like Iran pursuing this technology could actually reduce global nuclear waste, not increase it. But none of that fits into the narrative when the real goal is regional dominance, not non-proliferation.
