@Chrisader@ElyKreimendahl Adderall has the exact same effect on me. I am taking Concerta and it doesn't jack up my heart rate. Vyvanse is also amazing but is too expensive for me. There are multiple presentations of ADHD and medicines interact differently with each.
Being a great teacher requires more than just, "loving kids".
Great teachers also love:
❤️ Teaching
❤️ Data driven instruction
❤️ Second chances
❤️ Sharing best practices with other teachers
❤️ Love the kids in the school and not just the kids in their class.

@JonathanTjarks@netw3rk@ringer We don't know each other but we have a lot in common: both Dallas hoops junkies, Christians, and dads to young kids, so as I read your piece (through tears) I saw myself in your passage. But mostly, I saw Him. Thank you for writing this. We'll be praying and hoping with you.
@GothamChess So if I'm seeing this well, if MVL doesn’t go Bxd6, Fabi goes Nxc5 which the Q can’t take back bc of the bishop. If MVL does take, there’s the Knight forking the K & Q (thanks @EthanBecher). Then, depending on where MVL moves the king, could face a rook/king fork two moves later?
Jesus began His public calling not in the spotlight, but in the wilderness...
For 40 days.
Not 40 minutes
or 40 hours,
but 40 days.
Fasting.
Thirsting.
Praying.
Fighting.

He came out full of power. Don’t despise your wilderness season or try to cut it short.
@joanmariew708 @JoeBiden Wow! You did it! You mixed ignorance, racism, sexism and whataboutism in one tweet. You got racist Bingo! Go collect your prize at your local Klan rally.
I’ve seen 2 posts today supposedly of @USPS mailboxes being removed. One in Manhattan, one in Portland. Given rhetoric coming out of WH, and Trump lackey Postmaster General who just decommissioned 671 mail-sorting machines, this is alarming. What in the hell is going on?
Instead of getting mad at your child’s teacher for wanting to stay alive, get mad at the government for refusing to provide monthly stimulus checks, more unemployment money, rent freezes, and childcare subsidies. The government has failed to act, not teachers.

It is imperative that you do not allow schools to open in person during a pandemic. This puts the lives of children, teachers, staff and their families at risk unnecessarily. We can open virtually and deliver quality instruction without endangering lives.
