Found two barely-sharpened pencils in the washing machine today. Not even mad that my kids left pencils in their pockets. Upset that they’re Ticonderogas. It’s almost spring break. That’s like tossing out two cartons of cigarettes if you’re in prison.
When my team asked what I would be for costume day I said, “I’ll be HERE, and that’s the best I can do right now.” @hstrickland65 delivered a much-needed laugh this morning when she tossed me this shirt. Fantastic teammate. Always there to pick somebody up when they need it.

I have a VI student who rarely wears her glasses. Today, she put them on because she forgot her reading magnifier. I told her how good it was to see her in her glasses, and she looked me dead in the eye and said, “wow, you need to wash your face.”
Internet down. Blue-toothing my phone into the class sound bar so we can identify figurative language in song lyrics to get ready for a poetry/drama test on Friday.
Students running into teachers outside of school always has a weird “you really livin outchea?!?” vibe, but it’s turned up to 11 when they show up on your porch in a costume looking for candy. Better than a jump scare.
Just used the camera on my chrome book to pluck a nose hair that’s been driving me crazy. This is the kind of computer savvy that keeps landing me on the technology team.
