It's been more than 12 months since I last used my tumble dryer. Apart from the huge financial savings from using less energy, it's also helped reduce our carbon footprint. I can't lie, at times I've felt like I'm living in Widow Twanky's laundry but it's a positive change.

I think @GillianKeegan has somewhat missed the point teachers and their unions have been making. It's not just about pay, it's about having any rise from the pay body fully funded. School budgets are already stretched as it is. Our children and their #teachers deserve better.
