@cambridge_ok @MrTs_NQTs @MenTeachPrimary The rope was in the garage and the lamp was from an old Florence Nightingale display. It is hard sometimes to find the time to prepare for lessons but the outcome of pupil engagement makes it all worth it tenfold!

One of my Y5 boys drew me their own dot artwork after I read The Dot to them. If you know the book, you’ll know I just had to frame it!

Today, Pine class explored number patterns and rhythms to deepen their understanding of numbers. We used Garage Band and our times table knowledge to create rhythmic beats. Can you identify the times table that were used? @NHP_WAT

Today in chemistry, the children investigated soluble/insoluble materials by seeing which materials could dissolve into water and create a solution.
By documenting the learning on Numbers, the children had more time for meaningful conversations and for critical thinking!

For Big Bang Day, year 5 decoded hieroglyphics, wrote cartouches onto handmade papyrus, built spaghetti and marshmallow pyramids, created silhouette artwork and designed a keynote presentation to showcase everything they learned! We all had so much fun!
