If Poitras is part of a package to Seattle for example, they may want to negotiate the contract themselves.

@merlin_trader You jumped right on it. I was searching X for any LPCN news and came across your ASCP post. Dr. P also said in the 5/20 conference they could have an interim readout from the validation study late Q1. Seems optimistic. One step at a time, FDA meeting sometime soon.

@merlin_trader Fantastic write-up, well done as usual. During the presentation Dr. Patel did say that the outlier site data had already been submitted to the IRB and they had already requested a pre-NDA meeting with the FDA. I hope they have FDA alignment by the end of Q3.

@Jessemedscience I don't want another Center unless you're sending one the other way. Hagens, Lindholm, Minten, Zacha and Poitras is plenty, even Mittlestadt in a pinch. Fill the 2nd pair RD slot before anything else.

@Jessemedscience I still can't understand why you want to sell these guys so Sweeney can get more Lysell's Poitras, Zboril's, Senyshyn's, Frederick's and hopefully a DeBrusk and Lohrei mixed in. 1st rd picks aren't all Pastrnak's and McAvoys.

@Jessemedscience I'm not interested in Petterson, seems like he got paid and stopped putting in the effort. I think its just as likely Lindholm returns to form. We don't need another former top 6 C just for the sake of adding centers. Get a 1C or live with Zacha & wait for Hagens / Letourneau.

@KKurzNHL I assume Toronto would give a top 10 2027 pick to Philly over Boston and push the Bruins pick to 2028. If Boston trades the Toronto pick to another organization, then Toronto might prefer to give it to that other team and push the Philly pick to 2028.

@Jessemedscience @EvanMarinofsky Either Larkin or Thomas would Improve the Bruins. I'm not opposed to either and I hope Sweeney is investigating all options. In a vacuum, I think Larkin / Pasta would work better, but its all guesswork. I'll take whichever one costs less in assets to acquire.

@Jessemedscience @EvanMarinofsky Was Pasta better off on a line with Bergeron, who was also a scoring threat, or Krejci who could score but was more of a playmaker center? Is Larkin a better fit to finish when Pasta chooses the pass over the shot? Its about finding the best fit.

@Jessemedscience Also shifts the price point on Zacha... Anyone banking on a barren center market to elevate his value now has Larkin, Thomas, and Barzal as competing pieces. If someone is moving a top 10 pick will they want Thomas, Larkin, Barzal or Zacha as the return?

@Jessemedscience I think the biggest need is fixing the defense. If Zacha is willing to sign a fair contract extension I hope they go that route. I would obviously trade him for a lopsided return like a top 10, but I don't think thats realistic.

Zacha for a top 10 is a no brainer in a vacuum. What is the goal. Are you blowing it up and building around Hagens or reloading for Pasta's window?

@Jessemedscience I guess I don't understand the point. You're trying to accumulate assets to trade for Thomas, but aren't moving Hagens, Minten, or Letourneau and they can't move Lindholm... how many Centers do they need?

@_ShahKruti Nice thread, a few notes. I think the narrative changed from the psychiatric history subgroup to the epidemiologic outlier site causing the failure, see the corp presentation. Also think their 24.7m cash extends further, that end of 2026 comment was before the ATM raise in Q1.

I know, I know, sell Zacha, call up Poitras, and we can get hockey trade and cap space to kill penalties and make up for the goal difference.

@Jessemedscience @BruinsWyan2 Minten, Khustnutdinov, Aspirot all improved. Sway returned to form. Geekie, Kastalic and Zacha I believe all hit new career highs in goals, Mittlestadt and Korpi increases their trade value for summer deals. Its not all doom and gloom.
