There’s a woman on this plane doing the full influencer-flying-long-haul thing. Expensive loungewear co-ords, hydrating facial spritz, cashmere travel blanket, massive padded headphones, the lot. Which is fine, but we are flying to the Isle of Man.
An absolutely phenomenal experience to be part of #beaconresidential2223 hosted by @UCL_Holocaust. So many aspects of this weekend will go on to influence our classroom practice and curriculum moving forward. A truly inspiring and moving weekend representing @JohnSpenceCHS.
Mr Sadler is proud to represent JSCHS at #BeaconResidential2223 this weekend. He will be meeting fellow lead teachers @UCL_Holocaust and looks forward to hearing about how others teach the holocaust so future generations will never forget.
Incredibly proud to represent @JohnSpenceCHS at #BeaconResidential2223 hosted by @UCL_Holocaust this weekend. I will be meeting fellow Lead Teachers in person & look forward to being immersed in Holocaust T&L & visiting the @I_W_M in London!

Over the past few weeks, our History department have been trying to implement these "Excellence in History" breakdowns into our lessons. Any tips/thoughts to improve them? (This is a collab effort & not only my work, but the design is!) #History#Excellence#DualCoding

So far this week we have delivered 180 laptops and 80 free school meal hampers to our students. 200 more hampers ready to go out today. Thank you to our amazing staff for doing all they can to support our families at this difficult time.
Stretch and Challenge was something I struggled on and off with during my ITT. I recently read Mike Gershon's '50 Quick Ways to Stretch and Challenge More-Able Students' and found it a great help for ideas applicable to history lessons. Drop me a reply if you would like a copy!
