Just a Primary PGCE student faking it till I make it! Passionate about all things PE ~ University of Worcester ~ any advice would be greatly appreciated
Really want to start promoting metacognitive strategies with my student (year 4) on my final placement, but i'm really not sure where to start. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas or resources? @MrTs_NQTs#PGCE
@Alex_Bramley3 It’s not on the official route, but if you have time I’d definitely visit Isle of Skye! By far my favourite place when I did it last year
Wondering if the name of the document can make a difference when applying for teaching posts?😂 I’ve been sat here for 20 minutes thinking about this @MrTs_NQTs
A really fun morning today playing ‘decimal shuffleboard’! Exploring how we can partition decimal numbers in a variety of ways. The cleaning wasn’t so fun though😂
Over the past couple of weeks some of students have struggled to effectively communicate with each other when something goes wrong during our PE lessons. So today we tried out ‘Conflict Corner’ thanks to @thepespecialist and it was amazing to see how well the students responded!
Feeling pretty happy with the way things are heading at the moment! A positive mid-point review and a decent grade in my first assignment. Still plenty to work on, but I think that’s the most exciting thing😃
Can’t recommend this book enough to any PGCE students. Presenting pedagogical practices grounded in evidence that are easy to understand and implement. It has helped me so much! @teacherhead
I’m currently filling in my first teaching application and I’m curious about how much detail I should go into when it asks for my responsibilities during previous schools/employers? Any support would be really appreciated! @MrTs_NQTs
