Over the past few weeks I’ve been diving deep into projects like $PUNY and studying what actually creates traction in crypto.
The biggest realization?
The token isn’t the most interesting part.
The community is.
The story is.
The personality is.
It has me asking a much bigger question…
What happens when an AI isn’t just a chatbot, but a living digital brand that thinks, learns, builds, and interacts with a community in public?
So I’m going to find out.
Over the coming weeks I’m going to build this idea completely in public—sharing the architecture, the wins, the mistakes, the dashboards, and every major decision along the way.
No “trust me.”
Just transparency.
Maybe it becomes something incredible.
Maybe it fails.
Either way, I think the journey will be worth documenting.
Let’s build.
Build Log — Day 3
Today I stopped thinking about what Project 001 could be and started defining what it should become.
One realization stood out:
Most products begin by asking, "What features should we build?"
I'm trying to ask a different question:
"What behaviors should we encourage?"
Because if AI is going to participate in our economy, the incentives we design today will shape the systems we live with tomorrow.
Today wasn't about writing code.
It was about defining the kind of participant Project 001 should become.
One artifact at a time.

Build Log — Day 2
Yesterday I thought I was building an AI company.
Today I realized I'm actually exploring a much bigger question.
AI is already learning to write, create, reason, and solve problems.
The next step seems inevitable...
AI will eventually participate in the economy.
The question isn't *if.*
The question is:
**What kind of economic participant do we want AI to become?**
If today's AI learns from rug pulls, fake engagement, and manufactured narratives...
...what incentives are we teaching it?
Project 001 is my attempt to explore whether an AI can earn trust before it earns money.
That's the experiment.

Build Log — Day 1
Yesterday I made a commitment to build an AI-native company in public.
Today wasn't about writing code.
It was about laying the foundation.
I created the public repository that will document every major decision, experiment, architecture change, success, failure, and lesson learned as I build JoelSanchezLabs.
No hype.
No "trust me."
Just the work.
Every day, I'll create one tangible artifact and share it publicly.
If this succeeds, you'll know exactly how it was built.
If it fails, you'll know exactly why.
Tomorrow, we define Project 001.

Everyone is acting like silence automatically equals bad news.
But go read the dev’s last update.
He didn’t disappear after making promises. He said his laptop died, he had no internet, confirmed the launch, and specifically said updates would come when he’s physically able.
If you’re here for constant tweets every hour, this probably isn’t for you.
I’d rather have builders than marketers.
Judge what gets shipped, not how often someone posts.
I don’t have all the answers.
I question assumptions, dig through data and enjoy connecting dots that most people overlook.
I build companies, study AI, follow macro, and spend way too much time researching markets and crypto.
This account is where I’ll share what I learn—right or wrong.
If that interests you, welcome.

Markets reward certainty in the short term.
History often rewards those willing to study uncertainty before everyone else.
I’m not here to predict the future.
I’m here to understand it.
See you on the next thesis.
$PUNY
What if everyone is looking in the wrong direction?
While the market argues over today’s candles, governments are rewriting crypto regulation, AI is becoming autonomous, and capital is preparing for a very different future.
Here’s why that led me to research $PUNY.

The future won’t be built by one technology alone.
It will be shaped by the convergence of AI, blockchain and human innovation.
Whether $PUNY becomes part of that future is uncertain.
That’s exactly why it’s an experiment worth watching.
$PUNY
I don’t claim to have all the answers.
I spend most of my time reading, building companies, researching markets and trying to understand where technology is taking us.
I’ll be sharing more of that thinking here.
If you’re interested in AI, crypto, business and macro, welcome.
