Kudos to our 5th grade Social Studies teachers at Lincoln!!!Today was day two of timelines. The students worked with a partner to complete a Timeline Sort using dates from B.C. and A.D. The majority of the groups were successful on their first attempt!!!

Well,I must admit I was a tad hesitant to use this poster in our classroom. After hearing the positive comments from my teammates, I decided to take the plunge as well. I am glad I did. The kids enjoy it & it gives me an opportunity to catch the vibe of our room.

In honor of Constitution Day, we collaborated with a partner & read sentences on leaf images to determine which branch of government was being described. On Monday, we will make use of the leaves & a 3 branches handout to create a tree. #LincolnPrideWCS
