Working hard in the reading center to make all literature accessible to the students. This month we are using The Giver Graphic Novel to help increase comprehension while the students read the actual novel in class. #lovetoread #graphicnovels #TFSPantherPride

Teaching the students to love to read is a difficult task, but when we play to their interests magic can happen. Did you know that many of the shows our students watch are based on Japanese comics called manga? #lovetoread #TFSPantherPride #manga

After 9/11 some of the worlds greatest cartoonists and comic book authors got together for a comic book project to benefit the Red Cross. Authors such as Harvey Pakar and Will Eisner illustrated their own personal accounts of thi tragic day. #September11 #graphicnovel @redcrossny
