The Hughes brothers — Quinn, Jack and Luke — are this year’s cover athletes for EA Sports’ NHL 25. Together, they are the first siblings to appear on an EA Sports NHL video game cover.
“(It’s) really special."

@CommonsensePaul@TallDanG @pdvernichuk @timmykempton @trudykeil @kellywchris@dragonfly_jenny Have you been in all 39 PVSD schools? Talked with teachers from all of them? All the administrators? What are everyone's needs? How does that work on a system level? I'm trying to focus on everyone as we all count.
@CommonsensePaul@TallDanG @pdvernichuk @timmykempton @trudykeil @kellywchris@dragonfly_jenny Have you adjusted the amount of work for the Grade 2-9 teachers? Helped to change how report cards work in your division? Actually created less for teachers plates? Great we have diverse experiences.
@CommonsensePaul @pdvernichuk @SHEEPDOGSROCK @toddintune @allie_d125 @dragonfly_jenny@careylehner Again. Don't tell me class caps are a start if you are going to pretend like this contract isn't a start already. It might not be in your view on it but you are being obtuse about the benefits to larger schools.
@CommonsensePaul @timmykempton @trudykeil @kellywchris@dragonfly_jenny A piece that you are asking everyone to sacrifice for when it isn't the be all and end all. Please let me know what I should say to the schools that this doesn't benefit when I'm working with them next week to sell them on no.
@CommonsensePaul @pdvernichuk @timmykempton @trudykeil @kellywchris@dragonfly_jenny You misread what I said earlier. 30% of the schools who offer K-2 are slightly over. You are assuming a lot not being the source of the data. Also if we eliminate the schools with populations of less than 100 then it lowers to less than 10 % of classrooms from K-2 at 20.
@CommonsensePaul@TallDanG @pdvernichuk @timmykempton @trudykeil @kellywchris@dragonfly_jenny Whoa. They aren't way over the cap. If we don't include schools with less than 100 kids this reduces to 8 classes total. Almost all that are over are at 24. So again. Stop trying to make things worse than they are.
@CommonsensePaul No it's about the relative distance to other buildings the triple split grades and how it intensifies things. This is not something that can be looked at lightly as it affect communities quite a bit.
@sqirlgirly @Entropy1905 The issue with not enough teachers is mostly focused in urban settings. Most of the classes in the division I work in go under all of the class cap information I've seen. So individual divisions will have different needs. Thus the nuance.
@Kitzacat @kellywchris Ok. I'm going to be working in a bunch of schools next week where things like class caps don't do anything for them. Any tips on how I should sell them on others getting benefits where they don't?
@Wybo_en_educ@kellywchris By negotiating again after the election and then however long it takes plus implementation time is also kicking the can down the road. If we vote yes now we can start putting structures in place so that we can get better levels of service going forward.
@DevonFloyd306 @SaskTeachersFed Hiring more SLPs/Psychologists etc will help to adjust wait times in a way that helps more schools than bandaids over specific buildings.
@CommonsensePaul Please disagree! I am more than happy to talk through this so that I can get a better understanding.
The thing that we are dancing around here is school viability. Are some of the small schools still viable with the formula and does that then precipitate school closures?
