@place_lanes Weep for your 2 brain cells instead. You think throwing around english words makes you smart? What you are is another bigoted conspiracy theorist.
MY TAKEAWAY FROM NOTA’S EPISODE :
Nota doesn’t strike me as homophobic. He sounds more like someone experiencing gay fatigue - tired of feeling like he has to walk on eggshells around a particular group.
He’s never physically harmed a gay person, he acknowledges that almost every household has a gay person, he participated in the Feather Awards and even DJ’d there. Yes, some of his tweets have probably hurt people, but being offended by someone’s opinion online doesn’t automatically make that person hateful.
What i heard was someone frustrated by what he sees as a society constantly accommodating one group - changing laws, language, pronouns, spaces, toilets, etc. He may never fully understand what it’s like to navigate life as a gay person, but his argument is essentially that being gay shouldn’t make anyone inherently more important or deserving of special treatment.
But what is "suffering from gay fatigue"? what kind of criticism is that? Heterosexuality is deemed the "default", literally everything favors straight people &has been since the beginning of time, but have you ever seen a gay person saying they suffer from "straight fatigue"?😭
Gay people are still people. You guys should be able to live your lives like normal people because you are people. Critique happens to everyone and when someone criticizes a person in your community, in instances where it's not hateful comments, it should be viewed as just critique to a human being from another human being. I agree. @lavidaNOTA is not a hateful person
The key word is cultural impact. In no world are The Cheetah Girls more culturally impactful than Destiny’s Child. Keke needs to be serious and touch some grass. 😭
2022 — ACT I: “RENAISSANCE”
2024 — ACT II: “COWBOY CARTER”
2026 — Relançamento de 20 anos do “B’DAY”
