Solidity's rep did a 180 over the last few years. ngl, Foundry's invariant and fuzz testing are goated (built in Rust 😜). wish we had that native DX in Rust. lol, EVM gives me less trauma than the borrow checker.

Better onchain pricing used to mean more capital. Now it doesn’t.

We were able to fine tune an open weight model (Qwen3.5-9B) on proprietary internal data at @coinbase, and it out performed frontier models, at much lower cost and speed, for a specialized task (fraud prevention in this case). I think we'll see more of this pattern inside companies. The frontier models are amazing generalists. But increasingly you'll see specialist models out perform on more narrow tasks, either working on teams, or by themselves. We're making it easy to fine tune models internally for our employees. We even have a skill for it in our internal harness that makes it easy to spin these up and start training them: "/fine-tune-and-serve-llm I want to fine-tune Qwen for payments risk review. help me get started" I imagine we'll have some backend services that could be replaced entirely by this new architecture.

The biggest financial shift of our lifetime is starting, and Coinbase was built for this moment. Every asset on earth (stocks, bonds, commodities, real estate, etc) is going to move onchain. The hundred-trillion-dollar financial system is being updated, faster than the incumbents can react. A handful of companies will own the rails for this new system. Coinbase is uniquely positioned to capitalize on this generational transformation. We just released our latest earnings where we talk about our progress here. It was a tough market in Q2. Despite this, we continued to execute on the things in our control and build through the noise. Some highlights: - We store the most crypto in the world, and are the leading stablecoin platform - 90%+ of agentic stablecoin transaction volume was on Base - New ATH in our crypto trading volume market share (10.3%) - Revenue has significantly diversified beyond trading - Prediction markets revenue more than doubled, +106% QoQ

Are you prepared for, not only how you'll trade, but hold, your Cosmos assets when Osmosis and Keplr Wallet close down? I give both 6 months tops. 1) Osmosis. No secret it's moving on. Community pool OSMO is being burned. Community pool BTC is being used to plug the recent exploit. 2) Keplr wallet. No posts on X for 5+ months. Stopped supporting new chains already. Costs of supporting the wallet outweighting revenue. Be warned.

Bolt's 30-day average trade rate has set an all-time high on 36 consecutive days. This is what a new baseline looks like.

"... Where Osmosis goes from here Simplifying the protocol is not the end goal. It is what lets us expand again, carefully and one step at a time. Osmosis remains the central venue for trading IBC assets, and that is still what it does best. The next leap forward is now on the horizon. We are open to a wide range of ideas, including building new products beyond the current chain. We have a few directions in mind and will share them soon. First, we want to hear from you. What should Osmosis build next, and where should it go? Stay tuned and follow the forum to see what comes next."

Every market has finite capacity. The difference is what happens when you reach it. Price a swap off the pool’s own depth and there is no clean cutoff. There is only worse. The curve keeps quoting, and it quotes you down. Bolt’s quote comes from the market, and the pool settles against it. Past available capacity, the trade stops. That’s deliberate. Better a hard no than a terrible yes.
