@DexingIt67@vigilanthwip Whole movie is about letting go of that btw. Nothing’s good or healthy about Peter obsessing about MJ (especially since she’s in a relationship)
@vigilanthwip The problem is labelling everything as “sibling-coded” is just as cringe as saying “they totally love each other and should’ve kissed right then and there”
What happened to bond, trust, simple connection and empathy? Instead it’s immediately “big bro/lil sis” since “SHIP BAD!”
@GambitMonam@Erick_M_09@Togata_kun No matter how fiercely you defend it haters will find something to hate it for and label people who support it. Age, “siblings”, racism and other bs.
People don’t say “I don’t like it I don’t care about it”, they immediately try to discredit it and sway public perception of it
@Erick_M_09@foku2006 Do you think Feige will follow canon this time with Xmen? I always thought MCU doesn’t care about canon very much. Spider-Man had no Gwen, no Ben, no Harry for example
@Erick_M_09@foku2006 Butwho cares about these people? Audience loves these movies and they make a lot of money.
They can just what they see fit with the characters and nothing bad will happen. Outside of USA (which is polarised) audience resonated with the idea.
It’s just a matter of execution
@CosmicRayan@HawkRockz@bubs76453110@Dperezolive_@O2H2_OH4 Am I saying he’s a teenager?
Feige said they are close in age, maybe she’s a little younger (usually in this age range little younger means 2-3 years and not 5-6)
Cambridge Dictionary says “teenager” is a person 13-19yo (you ignore it)
What’s not to understand here?
