Dude I just bought like $90 worth of tools to try and diagnose what's wrong with the suspension. Jacked the car up, got all my tools, got the spare tyre for safety, tested the play and then went to go take the nut off and realized I don't have penetrating oil 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Also while buying the tools I drop a whole set of spanners in the store and it made the loudest fucking sound cause it hit the metal shelving and some guy in the aisle over just went "Wheeyyy"

I lived my whole life with the "that's too expensive I'm gonna make/ do it myself" and somehow I've gotten to the point where I'm fixing my car because I don't want to pay $900 purely because mechanics charge $200 an hour
