Reunited again! It’s so hard having a best friend who lives hundreds of miles away. However, days like yesterday make our friendship so much stronger! 😍
@mooramana We’ve just sold our house, moving to a bigger property. Am hoping this doesn’t happen to us! Our buyers are first time buyers so no stamp duty. We are paying our stamp duty out of the sale equity. It’s all so archaic!!
@implausibleblog@AldiUK My partner did this once when there were no baskets left. A staff member approached him and said ‘excuse me young man’, he’s 32! 😂😂😂
1/2. 2023 has ended in horrible way this year. My beloved mum, who already suffers hugely with Parkinson’s has spent the past 7 weeks in hospital. She has missed the entire build up to Christmas, Christmas itself and NYE.
With so much outside of school too. So I just hope that 2024 is a year where we can make lots of family memories and can spend lots of time together. Here’s to you mum ❤️
It began in November with chest pain which then led to Kidney failure, followed by the heartbreaking diagnosis of Myeloma in November. Myeloma is basically bone marrow cancer. It is incurable but treatable, she’s had her first round of chemo already.
We don’t know what 2024 will bring, but we do know that we want mum home so she can be in her home that she has lovingly created over the past 40 years. I’ve found the past few weeks tough to be honest. Teaching full time is hard when your brain is dealing…
We don’t know how long she will have, it could be months or it could be years. All I know is that she is and always will be the most incredible mum that anyone could wish for. Even whilst in hospital she has made sure that we’ve had Christmas presents etc.
@MrMcofficial86 This! I try to do as little as possible at home. To me, it’s the only way I stay sane in this job! It’s so all encompassing at times isn’t it?!
Don’t bother buying anything from @adidasUK, bought some joggers a few weeks back. Wore them ONCE, there is a hole in them and they won’t refund or exchange because I don’t have the original packaging or label even though I have the order number! 😡😡
New English lead here. Researching how we can tweak our teaching of reading to ensure we focus on developing fluency first, before developing further reading skills. Any advise or tips on what would work well would be much appreciated :)
