The point is made are over and over again. The gospel is all about God’s righteousness.

—God’s righteousness appearing without the condemnation of the law (Rom 3:22);
—God’s righteousness available through Jesus’s works and given to believers (Rom 3:23);
—God’s righteousness declared by forgiving all sins of the past (Rom 3:25); —God’s righteousness declared by His own justice (Rom 3:26).

Notice: God’s righteousness comes by the faithful work of God’s Son. It is given to all that believe.

The faith of Christ (Rom 3:22; Gal 2:16; Gal 2:20; Phil 3:9; 2 Tim 2:13) is not the same thing as one’s faith in Christ (Eph 1:15; Col 1:4; 2:5; 1 Tim 1:14).

It is His faith that saves ALL who believe. See Ephesians 2:8-9 as well.

The first 18 verses highlighted the righteousness of man, which is awful.
19-20 eliminates the law as a means to attain the acceptable righteousness. 21-22 is the only way—God imputes/ascribes His own righteousness to the account of the sinner who believes the gospel of Jesus Christ.
