It's clear that Mundubile has been accepted pa ground and possibly the person to succeed HH. The question is, can he bridge our current gaps? I think it's time for him to give HOPE.
@cutesie_valerie@sydosis Will of the people presupposes consultation with constituents
Or did they send you to Parliament believing you'll vote your conscience which they are aligned with, regardless?
Or did they vote based on your affiliation meaning they'd align with the party position?
No easy outs
@DD_eeyanac Also, children don't learn language through "teaching," it is something they absorb from their environment.
Children who are exposed to, and engaged with, meaningfully in multiple languages could "learn" all. For a young mind, exposure is the teacher, engagement builds fluency
I saw this post which was reposted by my professional association. This appetite to do illegal things in Zambia is absurd and when Admin explained everything she went quiet. #LetsSupport legitimate Businesses.
@Takunachola@ke_le_brimbor@25Erasmus Technically, Walmart is already in Zambia under their African holdco, Massmart. They missed Jumbo on this list.
The news item suggests they will state operating stores actually named Walmart 'here' also soon
@luchi7 Coincidentally, listening to Mucima "explain" re-agents stock out, I couldn't help but think: hmm.. doesn't inspire confidence. I wonder if P1 finds this acceptable
Me too, I have done some before oh . 15 years ago I facilitated a collaboration between Ghana and Zambia! MrVezzy ft Mugeez of R2bees - ImmaBadboy https://t.co/hUuAI9u40U
@i_RockNation @vdmempire They are in court as adversaries. Goal is to win at any cost. And making the other party look unhinged is part of the play

@cutesie_valerie More dollars coming in to buy Government bonds denominated in kwacha.
Used to be the norm before Sata.
Investors could borrow dollars at low rates (eg 7%) convert to kwacha earn high Zambian interest rates (min 15%), and as long as rate is stable they profit the difference
@YoungTipa@drbabe_ Doctors. Your updated opinions on what's going on/ should happen with NHIMA?
I saw below discussion on the timeline and remembered we discussed this

Using NHIMA is humiliating.
Took one of the girls to the clinic, yesterday, and was told they only see 3 NHIMA patients, per day, and they had already reached their quota. Please raise the payments. This is making no sense.
ALL OUTSTANDING MAIZE PAYMENTS TO FARMERS TO BE CLEARED BY JANUARY 10, 2026 - Finance and National Planning Minister Dr. SITUMBEKO MUSOKOTWANE has said all outstanding payments to farmers who supplied maize to the Food Reserve Agency will be fully settled by January, 10, 2026, seeking to reassure growers amid concerns over payment delays.
In a statement, the Minister acknowledged the delays but said the FRA was continuing to receive funds from financing institutions, alongside proceeds from ongoing maize sales, allowing payments to be made on a rolling basis ahead of the final settlement date.
“Farmers will continue to receive their payments during this period, even before the final instalment is received,” the Minister said.
The Minister said timely payments were critical for household welfare, sustaining livelihoods and enabling farmers to prepare for the current farming season, adding that the Government remained committed to ensuring every farmer was paid in full within the stated timeframe.
Finance Minister Dr. SITUMBEKO MUSOKOTWANE thanked farmers for their patience and contribution to national food security and economic stability, echoing remarks by President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA.
Further updates would be issued as necessary.
