This article is very relevant to how adults want to learn. We want to choose what we learn and we want that learning to have immediate use in our daily lives! @tberry_teaches#ET662
What I found interesting from Dintersmith was that we still play this "game of school" where we commit to short term memory. I still see that formula used to this day at my own school. #ET690#WhatSchoolsCouldBe#WSCBbyTedDintersmith -Zach W.
A5: I use fun polls that are out of the blue at times. I'll ask a question like, "How many fingers am I holding up?" with ridiculous answers like 100. Gets a good laugh and lets me know who's engaged and who isn't! #zaddaboutedchat
A3: Right now I love the chrome extension Page Marker. Made by high school students and can be downloaded for free; it turns anything I am presenting on my computer into a whiteboard alongside it. Highly recommend for any math teachers out there! #zaddaboutedchat
A2: Right now my PLN is small since I only started to build it at the end of January, so I follow my classmates and my professor. As time moves forward, my PLN will grow. This chat is just one of many ways you and I can have a solid PLN foundation. #zaddaboutedchat
A1: PLN stands for Professional Learning Network! It is a way for educators to use tools such as social media to not only stay connected, but to share their ideas in order to better their pedagogy.

My favorite idea here is the Travelling Tales because you could potentially incorporate community cultures within story development.
