@CoachDanCasey HS football my last season I was a coach, we ran Maryland I. Looking to seal our first league win in 10 years…we have a 10 play, 47 yard drive. Took over 10 minutes off the clock and ended up stalling on the 1 yard line on 4th. Safety the next play sealed the win!

@coachlaw71 @RedditCFB Central beat South in the early 2000s doing this. It was wild…nobody in the stands knew what was going on. Central lined up to kick if off from well inside South territory. South coaches knew what might be coming and tried to punt it out of bounds.

What is the success of the pass rush or the success rate of the play for the offense when he drops into coverage? That would be an interesting comparison. The eye test says he should rush on 93% as well.

Leroy Harris III has a QB pressure rate of 15.7% this season. Austin Booker had a QB pressure rate of 16% in 2023.

So, Harris is getting to the QB as often as Booker. But, Harris is rushing on 75% of the passing plays he's on the field for. Booker rushed on 93.7% of the passing plays he was on the field for.
