To be honest-tired of hearing about “learning loss”. There has been much effort, learning & growth students have demonstrated this year. Also new skills have been developed to survive conditions in both school & life. Let’s stop approaching the student experience from a deficit.

Imagine the outcomes for kids if we challenged the eurocentrism in our schools, removing the barriers so that students had access to content & curriculum which broadened their experiences, & helped them to better understand themselves. Challenge the narrative to change the story.

On Friday I submitted my students' report cards. I think it is only fair that my students have a chance to evaluate me as well so that I can get some feedback from the stakeholders in my practice!
